Water for All

In Saint-Rémi, access to safe drinking water has long been a key concern for citizens. For several years, the City has been working on a sustainable solution to this vital issue. The launch of construction on a new reservoir marked a decisive milestone.

To accompany this major step, the City entrusted the creative team at 2 Square Films with producing a video to inform, reassure, and highlight the importance of protecting this precious resource through responsible consumption.

To meet the communication objectives, the 2 Square Films team chose a 2D motion design approach. The video is built around a visual universe of colorful, animated pictograms—simple, recognizable, and engaging. A professional narrator’s voice guides viewers with clear yet precise wording, delivered in an inviting tone. Music reinforces attention and adds rhythm, resulting in a message that is dynamic, accessible, and easy to follow.

The video was presented at public assemblies, shared on the City’s website, and distributed across its social media channels, where it received highly positive feedback from citizens.

Anticipating future needs, the 2 Square Films team had carefully archived and secured all project elements. The following year, when the City needed to update its communication to reflect the progress of the work, a new version was produced quickly and at minimal cost—while maintaining continuity in the graphic style of the City’s communications.
