Documenting and showcasing interdisciplinary projects.
PLAN (Pôle lavallois d’enseignement supérieur) brings together Collège Montmorency, Université de Montréal and Université du Québec à Montréal. Supported by Quebec’s Ministry of Higher Education, the organization fosters collaboration, cross-sector connections and transdisciplinary approaches, primarily in the field of digital arts.
At the heart of its mission: building lasting bridges between education, research, creative and industry sectors in Laval.
Since 2020, 2 Square Films has been supporting PLAN in its positioning and in the production of video content designed to document and showcase the projects it supports.
With the dual objective of informing and inspiring, our approach goes beyond traditional promotional video production. Each piece is developed as a structured content, grounded in strategic thinking, that conveys the richness of collaborative processes by highlighting both the journey and the outcomes.
The treatment draws from short-form documentary language, with particular attention to storytelling and clarity.
Close to thirty videos have been produced to date, within an ongoing collaboration.
Distributed across PLAN’s digital platforms and through targeted communications, this content strengthens the visibility of initiatives and supports the development of collaborative practices across Laval’s institutional and professional sectors.
The videos also contribute to expanding the reach of these projects to broader audiences. Espace Vivant, developed in collaboration with the Laval-based company Bloom, is a notable example: a finalist at the International Design Awards 2022, it reflects the growing visibility of these initiatives beyond Laval.
