Production de type documentaire dont l’objectif est de contribuer à faire connaître l’histoire de Sir Rodolphe Forget, personnage visionnaire, à la fois financier, homme d’affaires prospère, politicien et philanthrope. Fait chevalier par le roi George V, Sir Rodolphe (1861-1919) est aussi le père de Thérèse (Forget) Casgrain, un personnage marquant de la lutte des femmes au Québec.
Présenté par Bernard Derome avec la participation de quatorze intervenants, dont Louis Vachon, Michel Nadeau, Nicolle Forget, Christian Harvey et Thérèse Johnson, petite-fille de Rodolphe Forget.
Le documentaire sera diffusé sur les ondes de Télé-Québec et dans le circuit des musées, sociétés d’histoire et organisations d’entrepreneurs.

A documentary-type production whose objective is to contribute to the knowledge of the history of Sir Rodolphe Forget, a visionary character, at the same time financier, successful businessman, politician and philanthropist. Knighted by King George V, Sir Rodolphe (1861-1919) was also the father of Thérèse (Forget) Casgrain, a key figure in the struggle of women in Quebec.
Presented by Bernard Derome with the participation of fourteen speakers, including Louis Vachon, Michel Nadeau, Nicolle Forget, Christian Harvey and Thérèse Johnson, granddaughter of Rodolphe Forget.
The documentary will be broadcast on Télé-Québec and in the circuit of museums, historical societies and entrepreneurial organizations.
